Define the reason to choose the product
Research and competitor analysis informed the positioning, subscription pricing, trial strategy and onboarding concepts.
SpeakDay1 / Language learning · Subscription product
A language-learning concept shaped into a clearer subscription proposition around speaking from day one.
SpeakDay1 is a founder-owned venture. This is a related-company product and acquisition project, not an independent client engagement.

Designed production capacity, not a count of delivered or tested ads.
01 / The challenge
A new language-learning proposition needed a clear reason to be chosen alongside much larger established platforms.
The positioning centred on practical, real-world conversations and confidence: start speaking from day one. Product choices and acquisition strategy needed to support that promise.
02 / The work
Product positioning · Competitor research · Pricing & trial strategy · Landing-page strategy · Onboarding concepts · Creative strategy · Retention analytics planning
Research and competitor analysis informed the positioning, subscription pricing, trial strategy and onboarding concepts.
Landing pages, acquisition funnels, Meta strategy and retention analytics were considered together as a commercially structured subscription journey.
Creator and short-form concepts included day-one versus day-seven progress, travel challenges and speaking confidence. A production framework was designed to support testing approximately 10 to 20 new concepts a week.
03 / The result
The work produced a more clearly differentiated subscription proposition, with connected decisions about pricing, trial structure, channels, creative and funnel targets.
This case describes product and acquisition preparation. Creative ideas are concepts and the testing cadence is a planned capacity, rather than evidence of released features, customer traction or completed testing.
Client feedback

DemandMeetings challenged every part of the proposition. The question was always the same: why would somebody choose us instead of one of the enormous existing language platforms? That discipline shaped both the product and the acquisition strategy.
